Questions are amazing. In class we learned about the importance of asking questions. All good science is trying to answer a question someone had. When you were little, you were good at asking questions. Let's get good again.
Your first homework assignment is easy, and you could easily do it in an afternoon, but I give you one week. Your job is to come up with twenty (20) questions about the world around you. These questions can be about anything, but if you get stuck, look at nature. Write down your questions, and then do some research on one question. You can find out the answer for yourself, or look it up. Write down what you learned in 1-2 paragraphs.
