The Language of Science

Your assignment is to be familiar with 25 roots and 25 prefixes in Greek and Latin. While this sounds like a lot of memorization, you may be surprised with what you already know.

It is not required that you know whether the word is Greek or Latin, but this is included for interest's sake. You should know these so well that if you come across a new word, you can figure out what it means by its root and prefix.
