In science, we learned that the first way we learn is through our senses. We also learned that most people aren't very good at paying close attention. It takes practice to be truly good at using your senses.

This assignment is a chance for you to practice attention to detail. You will need one leaf. Your assignment is to study the leaf VERY closely, and then write down a detailed description of the leaf. You must include at least twenty items.

So, number your paper from 1-20. Study your leaf. Use a magnifying glass if needed. Write down 20 descriptive items, and remember, you are not limited by your sense of sight. DO NOT TASTE your leaf because some are deadly.
