Environmental Show and Tell and Write-Up

For this assignment, the student must choose one environmental topic and do a brief "show and tell" about it, with the purpose of convincing the class that the concern is substantial. As part of this, the student should have read about an environmental concern and understand it well enough to explain it to the class. The student must also present a visual aid that will help the class understand this problem better. If pictures are used, they need to be large enough that they can be seen by a group. Objects may be brought, activities done, or anything that will help the class understand the problem better. No written material should be turned in.

Students are to take notes on other's presentations. These notes will be turned in and graded. The presentation score will be based on the following: Demonstrated knowledge of an environmental problem Ability to explain the seriousness of that concern to others Use of a visual aid in the presentation
